Promise Marketing Blog

The holidays are here and another year will soon be upon us.  The next couple weeks will be filled with many of us taking time off to spend time with family and friends.  We are certainly looking forward to a little time off and were just reminiscing about some of our favorite holiday marketing campaigns and thought this would be a good blog post.

So, here is our top five list of marketing campaigns for the holidays:

1.    Macy’s holiday parade Even though this is held during Thanksgiving, the Macy’s holiday parade kicks off the holiday season for many and is a tradition for many families to watch the parade from home or in New York.  It’s been a tradition for 85 years this year.

2.   Coca Cola polar bears An advertising campaign with polar bears and penguins, this campaign plays on the cute factor.

3.    Hershey’s Kisses jingle bell campaign This is such a simple commercial and brilliant.  The product is the focus with a recognizable holiday song.

4.    Elf Yourself by OfficeMax This is a very fun and clever viral marketing campaign that took off several years ago by our friends at OfficeMax.  It is creative, fun and has all the elements needed for a great viral marketing campaign.

5.    Budweiser Clydesdale holiday campaign The hummable melody, winter snow, and use of the world-renowned Budweiser Clydesdales are a recipe for the warm fuzzies.

Did we miss any of your favorite holiday marketing campaigns?  Please leave a comment with a note if we missed your favorite.

Happy Holidays everyone!
